Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards have entered the 12th year. The annual international awards held since 2001 which serves its main purpose as an event of networking and product benchmarking between Asia-Pacific’s finest developers and entrepreneurs in the field of IT. APICTA AWARDS 2012 was held at Brunei Darussalam, on December 3rd until December 5th, 2012. The judging event lasted for six days, a competition involving startups, academics, and corporations across Asia-Pacific.

 

On the first and second day, the participants are gathered to follow the quarantine process, involving preparation of presentations, and final checks.

On the third day, all participants enter the judging process. Presenting each of their projects in front of 5 judges consisting academic figures, entrepreneurs, and professionals gathered from various countries. Kuassa’s IT director, Edwin “Ed” Yudayana, are presenting Amplifikation Creme representing Indonesia in the New Media and Entertainment Category. Scores are calculated from several determining factors, including Innovation, uniqueness, quality, and market potential.

On the judging day, Edwin presented the judges about how Amplifikation Creme developed by a team of musicians which are passionate about music technology. He demoed several familiar guitar licks and riffs to show the versatility of Amplifikation Creme to the judges, about how it can streamline a recording and mixing process in audio production, and how it can give lots of benefits for musicians looking for affordable alternative to miking real guitar amp without sacrificing tonal quality. Edwin also put lots of Amplifikation Creme’s user testimonials, user tracks, and user videos to show the judges about how Amplification Creme can give benefit to our users and it’s growing market potential.

On the fifth day the entire jury gathered to announce the winner of APICTA AWARDS 2012. APICTA awarding night at Empire Hotel, Brunei darussalam.

And the good news is: Amplifikation Creme won MERIT in the category of New Media and Entertainment!

In total, Indonesian delegation brought home 2 awards, and 5 merit awards from various categories. Here is Edwin when he representing kuassa to receive theaward from the Crown Prince of Brunei himself in APICTA 2012 awarding night.
