Introducing Kuassa’s new logo. An amalgamation from elements of our old logo, into a stronger, bolder, packed form. This delivers a message about a united diversity of our team, our users, and the extended ecosystem that surrounds us.
The orange color, the typical color identity for Kuassa, will be expanded to a gradation of orange hues to symbolize the company’s playful spirit of excitement, inclusivity and inspiration.
Established in Bandung, 2009. Kuassa began with a deceptively simple, free plug-in called Amplifikation Lite – and has since then expanded into a virtual pedalboard called Amplifikation 360 – marking their shift from a series of small packages of amp plug-ins aimed at specific segments of musicians, to an integrated suite of amps and effects while maintaining a modular-inspired workflow. By incorporating more creative freedom and performance-friendly features for guitarists.
Taking this into account, Kuassa understands that it must present itself with a fresh brand outlook. A new form that’s really versatile, and can be used for many different applications, but also brings the essence of the old logo into a packed, bolder form. A new logo was designed to represent Kuassa’s new identity as a symbol for integration, universality, and solidity, designed to reflect the company’s humble, unpretentious journey out of Bandung, Indonesia, a vibrant but more laid-back city 200km from the Indonesian capital city of Jakarta. The city is highly regarded as the capital city of the independent music scene , biggest metal festival, and creative powerhouse in Southeast Asia.
It is inevitable for Kuassa’s journey into the global music industry to be accompanied by the journey of the team, as long-time friends who witness and participate in the rise of indie bands from numerous genres during the 90’s era, into a regional powerhouse today. In the indie scene, you will find street clothing brands, skateboards, design, art, festivals, raves, and last but not least, tech startups, all under one umbrella of a do-it-yourself attitude, creative autonomy, pioneering innovativeness, and contrast despite many scenes and communities. Rise out as a single ecosystem.
